Antique Western Electric Co Wall Phone Updated WiringThis is an actual antique western electric co. Wall phone that somenoe has wired with a more modern keypad. I bought this on ebay a while back. It was already wired when i bought it. It plugs right into any standard phone jack. It receives calls perfectly the ringer works, the ear piece works and the mouth piece works fine it's very cool and sounds kinda old when you use it. The only problem is that it will not dial out. I was going to replcae the keypad but never got around to it. The whole front hinges open and they have installed a magnet to keep it closed so it's very eays to get into another cool feature. The actual box of the phone measures 20 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 6 deep. The shelf sticks off the front about 6 1/2 and the mouth piece sticks off the front about 8 1/2. I don't know much more about it it seems to me that most of the original guts are in it except for the old style batteries. Please check my other listings for similar items.
